Okay so I like Heroes a little too much and actually this link has nothing to do with Heroes but I like the article anyway.
Tonight my boyfriend and I went to a prescreening of this movie called “American Teen” and while I totally see the appeal for some people, my recommendation is as follows:
Don’t see it. Snoozers.
The thing is, the bf loved it, so I have to wonder if I am wrong. But like. Oh my god. It was so boring. And the few parts that did make me laugh or think were just not enough. Mostly I felt disappointment in the movie — and in the audience, for their inappropriate responses to so many things. Said reactions were a miserable reflection of some of the shitfacedness that happens in high school and it was clear the audience members were at home in the movie.
What a bunch of fucks, and aside, what a bad movie anyway.
So I don’t know, I don’t think those are the strongest or best reasons I didn’t like the movie, but I am so fried out after having sat through it that I can’t really say anything more solid. I imagine I could when I was more clear-headed. 52 minutes into the whole thing I looked at the time and was ready to kill myself that it had seriously been less than an hour.
Oi! So props to M&M for skipping out on this one.

How do people write in blogs? I do not understand. I look at tumblr and think, ‘Hey I should write something!’ and then I remember ‘Oh yeah like I want to write about THAT… or THIS…’. Considering all that happens in my life is my life, and I don’t want to announce my personal everythings on the internet…
But to summarize my life as of late regardless, I have gone from worse to better. I was going through a tiny “rough patch,” as it were. To explain: me + certain medications = CRAZY. So I am off that now and though it’s only been a couple days I am already feeling back to myself, instead of weeping constantly.
Another thing in my life right now is THE MUSIC MAN. I am in a community theatre production of it. Opening night is the 18th. The show itself is coming along okay, but the running of the entire operation is less than smooth, so I think that has been a source of irritation for everyone involved on some level or another. Apparently I am a “complainer” but I’m pretty sure all of my complaints are justified. I don’t much want to get into it though because it is not THAT interesting and I hardly want to relive the frustrations. Whatever. Tomorrow I am not going to rehearsal and they can shove it until next week. Hee haw.
Independence Day is coming up and like, how good is that movie? Nothing is wrong with it. Even that annoying hick guy manages not to annoy me too much. Our town is doing fireworks tomorrow night for some dumb reason but I like fireworks even though little towns have cheesy ones. I am ready though for fun.

This is from a party I had a couple years ago. I’m hoping to have another one sometime within the next month, if I can find the time to do so.
So yesterday was my birthday and now I am 19 and I guess that means I can go to Canada and drink? But I don’t drink so I guess we’ll skip that one. No big deal though!
Anyway my birthday was all right - for whatever reason I was in low spirits most of the day, but that just is the way it goes with me. Sometimes I am Up and sometimes I am Down and really it’s all okay, huh?
Maybe you noticed by my nonchalant attitude towards everything I have said already but it seems I am in a pretty “Ah whatever!” kind of mood right now. Can anything faze me?!
There have been a lot of thunderstorms lately and I’ve really enjoyed it. I’m a heavy enough sleeper where it hasn’t done me any harm, and somehow we haven’t suffered a power outage yet (knock on wood).
Now I would like to plug this: Wizard People, Dear Reader. It’s simply fantastic. A guy named Brad Neely redubbed the entire first Harry Potter movie and I think it’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. If you don’t like HP, this might make it good for you (as long as you are somewhat familiar with it, and then again, maybe you don’t need to be) and as long as you’re not too serious about your HP, then HP and the effin’ bear are bound to make you chortle.
I have spent a lot of time recently just chilling by myself (typical) but also have made some ventures outside of my house to see more than the usual same-person mentioned in entry one. TO CLEAR SOME THINGS UP, I wasn’t complaining about seeing only one person! I find it preferable, though I like hanging out with other people too!
Now that THAT’S all cleared up… I think I will stop writing. This really just isn’t interesting! But oh well.
P.S. I am having a LOT of trouble setting up disqus comments. I pasted in the things, and the layout I am using even points out where you’re supposed to paste them, but when I do it “correctly” no comment box shows up. When I mess with the code randomly, the box appears, but then certain pieces of code are left showing! As you’ll notice. Can anyone help..?
